Yes! During the pandemic, masking seemed like it was going to be a health protection leap of the same magnitude as hand washing. And then everybody stopped doing it, which in most places I suppose is reasonable, but even hospitals and doctors' offices stopped -- which feels to me like they let go of a quantum leap in public health leap that they could have continued. Sigh....
