I know! I wish the people working at the doctor's office wore masks, too. My doctor doesn't routinely wear one, so she's obviously exposed to everything. She sees me masking and gets one for herself, at least. Or sees me masking and asks me if I want her to mask. But office staff that talks to everyone? Phlebotomist? Nope.
I wasn't in the doctor's office for very long, and it wasn't crowded. It was a whole lot less risky than going there and back on public transit, or going to the supermarket on my way home. I'm not worried, exactly. It just feels like people are looking for safety under the streetlight rather than where they dropped it.
